House Calls Lobby Teams Deliver Pro-Choice Message
House Calls 2005: Lobby to Put Prevention First!
Join a team of constituents from your area and visit your legislator in his or her district office anytime between Wednesday, August 17 and Friday, August 19, 2005. NARAL staff will provide you with information on the legislation you will be lobbying on, as well as train you on the tips to lobby and what to expect during your visit!
Email Nicole@ProChoiceCA.org with your name, address, and phone number to sign up for House Calls and she will follow up with you, assign you to a lobby team, and schedule the visit with your representative!
Even if you've never lobbied before, this is a great chance to meet your local representative and make a real difference in the legislation that affects women's lives in California and across the country!

The first annual "House Calls: Lobby To Put Prevention First" on August 24, 2004 was an amazing show of grassroots support for pro-choice issues. Almost 40 meetings throughout the state were held between legislators and NARAL Pro-Choice California activists. Here's what our activists had to say:
