ATTORNEY GENERAL ISSUES STATEMENT ON THE FORMATION OF NARAL PRO-CHOICE CALIFORNIA
(SACRAMENTO) – Attorney General Bill Lockyer today issued the following statement on the opening of NARAL Pro-Choice California:
“Californians strongly support a woman’s right to choose, but that right is under constant attack from anti-choice lawmakers and advocates throughout the country. NARAL Pro-Choice California will be on the front lines providing strong leadership and building new support in order to protect the freedoms of all California women.
The rights we have under the law are precious and we must remain diligent in order to prevent them from being taken away. I look forward to working with NARAL to defend those rights and defeat any and all efforts to restrict a woman’s right to choose in California.”
